Taylor Swift is officially in her mini-dressing era, and her latest appearance in a David Koma minidress is further proof. Over the past few months, she has delivered some of the strongest looks in miniskirts or coats styled as minidresses. Adding to that list is her look on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, where she looked like an early Christmas gift in a burgundy velvet dress.
Taylor Swift’s David Koma minidress has her looking like an early Christmas present
For her appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on December 10, Taylor Swift opted for a David Koma Off Shoulder Velvet Dress. Priced at $1,976, the red velvet dress had a dramatic, architectural neckline. It featured oversized, angular off-the-shoulder panels that extend outward like folded wings. The fitted and structured bodice tapered into a straight mini-length skirt.
Swift completed the look with an 18K Yellow Gold Diamond and Ruby Necklace from Vintage Necklace, a Kindred Lubeck of Artifex Fine Jewelry Old Mine Brilliant Cut Diamond Ring, and Aquazzura Dangerous Liaisons 105 Velvet Pumps. Further, she wore her hair in an updo with her signature bangs, and her lips were painted in a dark red shade.
Earlier that evening, the 35-year-old singer arrived at the studio building in a neutral ensemble. She tucked her long-sleeved bodycon T-shirt into a Miu Miu miniskirt worth $1,890. She also wore a furry beige Max Mara coat for the outing and carried a YSL shoulder bag. Christian Louboutin Jane Boots and Etiq’s diamond drop earrings completed her look.
On December 9, Swift attended a surprise screening of the first two episodes of her upcoming docuseries, The End of an Era. She paired a mini skirt with a turtleneck and red tights for the appearance. Disney+ shared a picture of her appearance on Instagram. That same night, she also went out for dinner with longtime friend, Este Haim. For this occasion, she dressed in a Louis Vuitton Double Face Duffle Coat.
