Tate McRae has never been shy when it comes to delivering bold looks, and her latest look in Devon Aoki’s bikini is more proof of that. The Canadian singer graced the cover of Rolling Stone’s January 2026 issue, sporting nothing but the iconic vintage bikini. Her candid interview with the outlet was published on December 11.
Tate McRae graces Rolling Stone’s cover in iconic Moschino Hearts bikini
Tate McRae stunned in a white-red string Moschino bikini from the brand’s Spring/Summer 2001 ‘Hearts’ bikini collection. Model and actress Devon Aoki modelled the set originally. The two-piece is made from white fabric with vivid red trimming, which adds graphic contrast.
Both the triangle top and the matching bottoms had large red heart appliqués; one on each cup of the bikini top and one centered on the front of the bottoms. The bikini top ties behind the neck and at the back with thin red strings. Meanwhile, the bottom also ties at the sides with similar strings. In the photo, McRae posed with her hands lifted above her head, with her hair styled in loose waves.
The “Tit for Tat” singer sported several other lingerie pieces for the photoshoot. Rolling Stone posted an Instagram carousel of some pictures from the shoot. In the first photo, she posed on a white shag carpet in a lace-trimmed satin bikini set from Clothing by Kier. Ankle-length hair extensions were used to style her hair for this look.
In the interview, McRae reflected on how her bold fashion choices attracted media criticism. She said, “I was feeling sexual and confident for the first time in my life, and then I would release something and feel sexualized, and feel like all of my work and effort was taken away from me.” She also opened up about how the public scrutiny of her relationship and breakup with The Kid LAROI affected her.
