Ex-Prince Andrew & Sarah Ferguson Attend Christening as Expert Reacts

The ex-Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson’s presence at their granddaughter’s christening has recently caught everyone’s attention. Since they were stripped of their royal titles, the family has not been spotted together at a gathering. On Friday, they attended the christening of their granddaughter, Athena, Princess Beatrice’s second child, in London. According to the latest report, an expert claimed that Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice have seemingly landed in a “difficult position” due to their father’s past controversy.

Ex-Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson’s daughters ‘to keep their distance,’ says expert

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson’s daughters have reportedly been in turmoil. Recently, Princess Beatrice held her child Athena’s christening last week at the Chapel Royal at St. James Palace, London. As grandparents, Andrew and Ferguson attended the event, but their presence made headlines.

Due to the ex-Duke of York’s past scandals, he was stripped of the royal “Prince” title. However, his children are still included in the “royal fold.” Referring to Beatrice’s daughter’s christening, royal commentator Meredith Constant told Fox News Digital that the princess was in a “difficult position.”

“Do you uninvite your father and give the media even more fodder, or do you invite him but keep it very low-key? It’s also in the interest of Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie to keep their distance from their parents’ scandals,” she claimed.

The expert further stated that King Charles reportedly wanted Andrew’s daughters to be part of the royal family. But he was allegedly not sure if it would change once Prince William becomes the king. Therefore, Constant warned that it would be better if there were “more space between the York sisters and their parents.”

Meanwhile, another factor that grabbed attention from the ceremony was the absence of the king and William. According to The Royal Observer, Beatrice shares good terms with them, but the royal members were allegedly not invited to the intimate ceremony.
