The Kissing Booth alum Jacob Elordi made waves in Paris after a tense moment with a paparazzo at Gare du Nord train station. A clip of the tense encounter blew up online after the paparazzo greeted Jacob Elordi with, “Jacob, we love you.” Standing with security, Elordi pulled out an earphone and responded, “You make it really hard for me to live.” When the photographer repeated his praise, Elordi didn’t hold back and said, “I don’t love you. You make it really hard for me to live.” Fans quickly rallied behind the actor, defending him across social media.

Fans took to social media to show support for Elordi, pointing out the pressures of living under constant public attention. One user commented, “You can love someone’s work without making their life harder to live. Jacob deserves the same basic humanity and space as anyone else.” Another fan noted they’d be frustrated too if followed so closely.

This isn’t Elordi’s first run-in over personal space. Three months ago, at the Venice Film Festival premiere of Frankenstein, he had a tense moment with a festival official. After snapping photos with fans, Elordi turned to the staffer and said, “Don’t ever tell me what to do.”

Even with the drama, fans seem to still see Elordi as a total sweetheart. The TikTok from Venice showed him flashing smiles and snapping pics, with viewers calling him “so nice.”

Jacob Elordi, 28, first rose to fame with Netflix’s rom-com hit The Kissing Booth. Since then, he’s been building an impressive resume, taking on diverse roles like playing Elvis Presley in Priscilla (2023) and The Creature in the latest Frankenstein adaptation.
