Natalie Tippett is tired of all the shade reportedly being thrown her way. The costume designer spoke out against actress Lily Allen over the weekend. The estranged wife of David Harbour reportedly had an open marriage with the Stranger Things actor, though she may not have been very on board with it.
The two are currently separated, though the exact timeline of that remains a little vague. Some outlets reported it took place last year, with others reporting it happened in early 2025.
Natalie took exception to some of the shots reportedly fired at her in Lily’s new album, West End Girl. Now she’s giving her version of events.
Natalie Tippett responded to “false” affair claims over David Harbour by Lily Allen
It appears Natalie has had enough of the supposed attacks she claims to be on the receiving end of. In a deleted Instagram story that Page Six managed to save, she told her side of the story. “I did not have a three-year affair with anyone,” she began. While she never directly mentions Lily, Natalie goes on to say she doesn’t understand why this person wants to pit people against her so badly. She calls the narrative allegedly created against her “false.”
She adds that she feels violated while alleging there’ve been threats made against her. Natalie is a single mother of one who says she wouldn’t trade her current life for anything.
One of Lily’s songs called Madeline seems to insinuate that David broke the rules in their open marriage. Lily reportedly found out about David having an affair she wasn’t aware of through texts on his phone.
In October, Lily opened up about going through mental health struggles following her breakup with David. Last month, Natalie and David were reportedly both in Winnipeg during the filming of Violent Night 2. The first few episodes of Stranger Things were released recently, with the series’ finale coming to Netflix on New Year’s Eve. Lily’s album West End Girl came out in October.
