Married to Medicine’s Quad Webb Gives IVF Update With Boyfriend King

During the Married to Medicine Season 11 reunion, Quad Webb opened up about her decision to move forward with IVF along with her partner, King. Of course, they recruited Dr. Jackie Walters to help with the process. That’s the perk of having a pair of OB-GYNs in your friend group.

Although we know Miss Quad is in good hands with Dr. Jackie, she shared a surprising update about her fertility journey in the latest episode of M2M. The journey is getting ready to take her to Africa.

In M2M Season 12 Episode 3, in between dueling birthday parties, Quad and King opened up about their ongoing fertility struggles. At the time of filming, Quad had completed two egg retrievals. However, the pair explained that their fertility journey would soon take them abroad.

Quad explained, “We have a friend who basically got pregnant at 46 with triplets. I said, ‘Wait a minute. Where is this doctor?’ And she’s like, ‘Oh, this doctor is in Ghana.’ When I heard that, I just felt like, this is where I need to be.”

Dr. Jackie will continue to check up on Quad’s lab work stateside, but she’s hoping that the doctor in Ghana can deliver some good news. She already said she wants twins, so King had better get ready.

“Sticking yourself a couple of times a day every single day gets exhausting and tiring. But despite all the side effects, it still will be well worth it to me to become a mom,” Quad gushed.

Meanwhile, King was bracing himself for another “24 hours of hell.” He told the cameras that dealing with Quad’s “mood swings” after each injection was starting to take a toll, but it will all be worth it when he’s got a mini version of Quad running around.

“If we get the results that we’re seeking, it will definitely be worth it. If not, I could’ve bought another car,” King quipped in a confessional.

Married to Medicine airs every Sunday at 9/8c on Bravo. You can stream it the next day on Peacock.
