Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor is off the hook on one allegation. The former Prince will not face consequences for allegedly trying to get some dirt on one of his accusers.
The brother of King Charles has had his world turned upside down over the past few months, largely due to his previous affiliation with Jeffrey Epstein. Not only has he lost all his royal titles, but he’s also been evicted from his Royal Lodge home. Andrew faced plenty of backlash because of this, in addition to allegations that the late sex offender trafficked the late Virginia Giuffre to the former Prince.
Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor was accused of asking to dig up information on Virginia Giuffre

Andrew can rest a little easier knowing one claim against him won’t be pursued. A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police told the BBC that they will “take no further action” against the former Prince, who allegedly was trying to uncover information about Virginia. Her memoir, Nobody’s Girl: A Memoir of Surviving Abuse and Fighting for Justice, was posthumously released in October. In the book, she alleges being trafficked to Andrew, who, according to her, called it his birthright. She was reportedly underage during the incident in question, while Andrew has always denied the allegations.
Andrew allegedly called on his taxpayer-funded security detail to look into Virginia. It’s believed that he gave a security officer her date of birth and social security number to enable them to investigate her further. Police, however, claim they found no additional evidence of criminal acts of misconduct in this alleged incident. The spokesperson adds that they are still committed to assessing any new information that may assist in the matter.
In late October, the King and his son, Prince William, reportedly were extremely concerned that Andrew’s presence posed a major problem.
Following this news, Virginia’s family released a statement expressing disappointment that the police are dropping the probe. They claim that they did so without explanation or prior discussion with them.
Virginia died of alleged suicide at her home in Australia in April.
