Janelle Brown is now a single woman. She stepped away from her plural marriage to Kody Brown in 2022. However, as fans witnessed on Sister Wives, their union was already faltering well before Season 18 ever aired. So, consider us all shocked to learn about a new confession she just made about her former flame.
Kody Brown’s ex-wife Janelle thought about going back to him
Sister Wives Season 20 is currently underway on TLC. Within, Janelle revealed a private sit-down session she shared with Kody. He had regrets about how he handled their split, she said. So, he traveled to North Carolina, where she now lives, for an unaired conversation with Janelle.
As Janelle explained to her friends who were also in town for a visit, “I was really intending to sit down, listen to him for ten minutes, and leave. However, their conversation ended up being much longer than Janelle intended. As for what they discussed, Kody thankfully offered Janelle a sincere apology for his actions leading up to their split. And according to Janelle, it was “good to hear some of these things” out of her ex’s lips.
But, “At some point I thought, ‘What if we worked this out?'” Janelle admitted, noting, “It’s just one of those thoughts, you know, you have when you sit down with an ex.” But alas, this era is over. “Kody and I meeting sort of put a few of the little pieces that were missing out of the chapter of the book that’s closed,” she explained.
And now, Janelle has the closure she needs, since “We’ve said our peace, and now it feels like it’s time to really cut that and move on.”
