King Charles Could ‘Bring Down Entire Monarchy’ for This Reason — Royal Insider

The swift action taken by King Charles against his brother may be doing more harm than good. The idea to strip Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor of his royal titles was aimed to show the King wouldn’t tolerate scandals like the Jeffrey Epstein one his brother was implicated in. Evicting him from the Royal Lodge was supposed to be another step towards showing decisiveness.

Few would argue Charles did the right thing. However, those actions “could bring down the entire monarchy,” according to an insider. Doing so may have exposed other royal secrets, which put the King under the microscope.

When you’re the King, every move you make is closely examined, and people will dig deep to discover everything there is to know. That may be what happened when news of the former Prince’s eviction from the Royal Lodge.

“The issue now goes way beyond Andrew,” claimed a senior palace aide to RadarOnline. They add that the King’s supposed arrangement for his brother to pay little to no rent is shining a light on the wider culture of royal privilege. The issues of entitlement, public funds, and palace culture are being discussed following Andrew’s eviction.

Because of this, “Charles finds himself in a tricky spot,” according to another source. His decisiveness to move quickly on his brother has reportedly given Republicans ammunition, and the monarchy is said to be more exposed than ever. If the public sees Charles make such dramatic changes, they may wonder why the government can’t abolish the monarchy just as quickly.

It’s believed that this could be the beginning of serious law-making and the way it is bankrolled by British taxpayers. It had been suggested earlier this month that the King is publicly protecting his brother from worse problems. He’ll reportedly be moving to one of the King’s estates in Sandringham.

It’s expected that Andrew will have until January to officially leave his Royal Lodge home.
