There’s a new Netflix game show in town, and you might just recognize the man playing host. Neil Patrick Harris returns to the streaming platform to front What’s in the Box?, an addictive reality series offering life-changing prizes to ordinary people. While the title gives a clue as to what viewers can expect when they stream this new competition reality series, there’s a lot more bubbling under the surface. We predict tension, tantrums, and above all else, must-watch television.

There will be laughs, tears, and a lot of exciting prizes in new Netflix game show, What’s in the Box?. As you would expect, giant boxes conceal huge prizes in the new competition series, challenging contestants to face off in pairs across trivia rounds which will lead them to eventually guess just what is inside each box.
Once a pair has won a prize, they must then forge alliances and take on unexpected twists, putting their instincts to the ultimate test and, relying on a little bit of luck, to hold onto their winnings and claim the W. Not everybody can be a winner, so while some dreams will be made, others will be shattered.
The six-part game show comes from Rollercoaster Television, part of ITV Studios. James Fox, Dom Waugh, Wes Kauble and Leanne Witcoop serve as executive producers.
Netflix’s What’s in the Box? comes hot on the heels of Simon Cowell: The Next Act, another unscripted series that saw the music mogul attempt to put together the world’s next big boyband. Hopefully, he wasn’t as much of a “d*ck” on that show as he admitted to being on American Idol…
