Rob Reiner’s Family Photos Resurface Amid Tragedy

Two weeks before Rob and Michele Singer Reiner‘s demise, their daughter, Romy, took to social media to share glimpses from their tropical family trip. She shared a brief note, expressing her thanks to her family, fans, and health, but expressed disappointment in the state of the nation and the presidency.

Romy Reiner’s Instagram post included her parents

Romy Reiner took to Instagram to share a series of pictures from her family vacation. Her dump included several images of her parents, who seemed to be having the time of their lives near the crystal-clear blue water. She included the background music from Tu Me Perteneces by Santo & Johnny.

Romy’s caption read, “Thankful for family, health, and followers of any age. Not thankful for the president and the state of our country.”

On December 14, Rob and Michele were found dead at their Los Angeles home. According to PEOPLE, the Los Angeles Fire Department received the call about the tragedy at around 3:30 p.m. Romy was the one to discover the bodies of her parents with multiple stab wounds at their Los Angeles home.

Furthermore, the Los Angeles Police Department reveals that her brother, Nick, has been arrested under suspicion of murder (via BBC).

Later, Reiner’s adopted daughter, Tracy, broke the silence on her parents’ demise in a conversation with NBC News. She said, “I came from the greatest family ever. I don’t know what to say. I’m in shock.”

A family spokesperson released a statement to confirm the couple’s death. The statement read, “It is with profound sorrow that we announce the tragic passing of Michele and Rob Reiner. We are heartbroken by this sudden loss, and we ask for privacy during this unbelievably difficult time.”

Rob Reiner was a popular director, producer, screenwriter, actor, and political activist. He was best known for his works in When Harry Met Sally… (1989), The Princess Bride, Stand by Me, All in the Family, and more.
