Someone may be creeping on the wife of an acting legend. That’s the claim being made by Arlene Silver. The wife of Dick Van Dyke is allegedly being stalked around the Malibu area. As a result, she didn’t attend her recent yoga class.
Arlene claims that this unidentified person has been following her for some time now, and she’s getting fed up. The makeup artist and Dick have been married since February 2012. Her allegation came just a few days before the Emmy Award-winning actor celebrated his 100th birthday.
Arlene Silver says she’s being stalked
It has been a frustrating and uncomfortable few months for Arlene. On Instagram, she said that the alleged stalking “has been going on for a couple of months. She claims since Halloween. “It sucks because it’s the one hour I leave to do something for myself,” she added.
She says she goes to yoga to move her body and improve her mental health. Dick’s wife says there’s always someone to mess things up when she goes to yoga.
Arlene says she confronted this person the last time she was at yoga. She claims to have seen them at other events she attended, including one to mark her husband’s centennial year.
While Dick said previously that he’s not afraid of death, a recent tragedy left him very shaken. The Grammy and Tony Award winner says he “didn’t sleep” when he heard the news that Hollywood director Rob Reiner was murdered along with his wife, Michele.
When Arlene confronted this person, she claims they played dumb, like they were really confused. She adds that she is considering calling the police regarding the matter. She says that she rarely gets alone time and is often caring for her husband in his old age.
Dick turned 100 on Saturday.
