King Charles’ annual Christmas lunch was reportedly missing four family members. A week before the festival, the royal family hosts a gathering at Buckingham Palace every year, kickstarting the festive cheer. According to a report, nearly 70 relatives of the monarch were invited this year. However, Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, and Sarah Ferguson were allegedly not included in the guest list.

King Charles’ Christmas lunch has recently caught everyone’s attention. The Express reported that four important family members were missing from the annual event. While Prince William and Kate Middleton arrived with their children, the king’s second son and his wife were allegedly not invited. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who are settled in California, were reportedly not part of the celebration.
Aside from them, ex-Prince Andrew and his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, were also said to not be on the guest list. The duo were recently stripped of their titles and will soon move out of their home, Royal Lodge. Due to the ex-Duke of York’s past scandals, the king had to take harsh actions against his brother.
However, Andrew and Sarah Ferguson’s daughters were invited to the Christmas lunch. According to the outlet, sisters Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice were photographed arriving at Buckingham Palace for the gathering. Earlier, a report stated that the ex-couple attended their granddaughter’s christening last week. But the king and Prince William, who share a close bond with Beatrice, allegedly didn’t attend the ceremony.
Meanwhile, Prince Harry and Markle will celebrate the festival in Montecito with their kids. Although there were reports of the Duke of Sussex planning a UK trip for the holiday, nothing was confirmed. It was also alleged that the couple is expected to call King Charles on Christmas Day.
“They won’t be there in person, but they will be in touch. It’s important to Harry that his father hears from him on Christmas,” a source claimed.
