Millie Bobby Brown’s fans were treated to an unexpected virtual appearance after a last-minute injury forced the star to miss a scheduled in-studio interview. The actress joined her Stranger Things co-star remotely, revealing the painful reason for her absence.
Millie Bobby Brown reveals she injured herself ahead of GMA
Millie Bobby Brown was slated to appear on Good Morning America on December 15, but did not make it to the studio as planned. Instead, the Stranger Things star joined the broadcast via video link from home, with a Christmas tree visible behind her, explaining that a fall had left her injured.
Before Brown appeared on screen, her co-star, Noah Schnapp, told the audience he was disappointed she could not be there in person. “I was so sad,” she wasn’t in the studio, he said, setting up the remote segment. When Brown appeared, she apologized directly to the hosts and viewers. “Hey, everyone at GMA, I’m really sorry I couldn’t be there with you guys,” she said, before explaining, “I took a fall.” She also showed her arm in a black sling, confirming the injury had prevented her from traveling to the studio.
Despite the setback, Brown kept the mood light. Joking with Schnapp, she added, “But I wanted to still participate in any way I could because, you know, Noah, I have to make it about me.” Referring to Schnapp as her “best friend,” she then asked him a festive question about his favorite holiday family tradition or memory. After signing off with, “I love you, good morning!”, Schnapp responded on air, saying, “Ah Mill, I wish she was here,” before sharing that his family plays a humorous word game during the holidays.
Brown and Schnapp’s off-screen bond has been well documented alongside their long-running work on Stranger Things. After all, he is the godfather to her daughter.
Now, Netflix recently released a new trailer for Volume 2 of the show’s fifth and final season, which will debut on Christmas Day, December 25, 2025, with the series finale releasing on December 31, 2025.
