The Survivor Season 49 finale on CBS will be interrupted by President Trump’s address to the nation

CBS News will be airing a special report where Trump is expected to share an update from the White House. Norah O’Donnell will anchor reporting from the White House, and chief White House correspondent Nancy Cordes.
White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt told reporters that the president will discuss what he has accomplished this year. He will also touch on his plans for the next three years.
“My Fellow Americans: I will be giving an ADDRESS TO THE NATION tomorrow night, LIVE FROM THE WHITE HOUSE, at 9 P.M. EST. I look forward to ‘seeing’ you then,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “It has been a great year for our country, and THE BEST IS YET TO COME!”
Trump’s special message will likely interrupt the broadcast of the Survivor finale, currently scheduled from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. The show will resume where it left off after the presidential address ends. The network plans to air the finale in its entirety.
Sophie Balerdi, Sage Ahrens-Nichols, Savannah Louie, Kristina Mills, and Rizo Velovic are the remaining castaways in Fiji competing for the $1 million prize. Fans have picked their favorites for who they think will ultimately outlast everyone. Two of the contestants are returning for the exciting 50th all-star season of Survivor next year.
Survivor host Jeff Probst revealed the cast for the milestone season 50 earlier this year. He also addressed the reasons why some fan favorites aren’t coming back. Some exciting cast members to look forward to include White Lotus creator Mike White from Survivor 37 and Survivor legend Cirie Fields.
Survivor is available to stream on Paramount+.
