Ahead of her hosting gig on SNL, Ariana Grande appeared in a promo video wearing a pricey coat to bundle up. Grande was spotted in New York City on December 16, wrapped up in the same white puffer-style coat from the French luxury fashion brand, Maison Margiela.

On December 19, NBC’s Saturday Night Live shared a promo video on its official Instagram account, teasing Ariana Grande’s upcoming hosting gig with the legendary Cher as a musical guest. The video begins with SNL cast member Ashley Grombol stopping by Grande’s dressing room to invite her to “throw snowballs at Ben Marshall” and see the Rockefeller Christmas tree.
With the dropping temperatures in mind, Grombol advises the 32-year-old to bundle up. Grande turns to the mirror and begins to bundle up in earnest. She puts on a white cable-knit vest from Varley, Kyi Kyi faux fur ear muffs, and black Khaite mid-length gloves. The “Wicked” star then layered a Maison Margiela Artisanal White Duvet Coat, worth $10,500, over the vest and slipped into Moon Boot snow boots.
When Grande sees the temperature drop further on her weather app, she layers on a glazed cherry ski suit from Halfdays. She tops it off with a light cream Lemaire hood and a matching scarf, then pulls on an extra pair of mittens. Then, the “Positions” singer waddles off to see the tree, only for Grombol to inform her that it is no longer available for viewing.
Luckily, Ashley Grombol has another idea and says, “You know what? I know where we could get the best view.” The duo goes to Lorne Michaels’ office, from where they get a glimpse of the beautiful tree. The video ends with Grande informing Grombol that she needs to pee before waddling out of the room.
