David Harbour has made a lot of headlines this year, but not for the right reasons. First came the bombshell allegations made in Lily Allen’s West End Girl album. Then came reports that Millie Bobby Brown had filed a bullying claim against him at Netflix. All of this pretty much eclipsed David’s role in the final season of Stranger Things. And now he’s caught up in another seemingly sticky situation.
David Harbour is accused of teasing a fellow patron
David was reportedly captured on video at a pub in Encinitas, California, acting strangely towards a fellow patron. In the video, reported on by TMZ, David allegedly entered the pub, then ran outside “carrying a white cap.”
“He then looks over his shoulder, yelling, ‘C’mon, dude, f*cking get me’,” TMZ said of the apparent clip. Per the news outlet, a patron walked after David and put his “hands up in exasperation.”
Things allegedly didn’t end there, however. A group of pubgoers followed the pair outside, and a woman can apparently be heard pleading with them not to “get into a fight.”
“The man eventually returns to the bar with his hat,” TMZ reported, adding “nothing got physical between the two and they went their separate ways.”
According to a source who spoke to TMZ in light of the alleged incident, David was acting “strange” and later “began to get emotional before kneeling down to pray.”
To that, another insider with “direct knowledge” told TMZ: “David has always been honest about managing his bipolar disorder.”
“[I] wouldn’t be surprised if that’s what he’s dealing with here after working non-stop all year and having his personal life under public scrutiny,” the source claimed. “That would be stressful for anyone, but even more so for someone who is bipolar.”
