Things have reportedly sunk to a new low for Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor. Not only has the disgraced former prince been ousted from the royal family, but he’s apparently got to sing for his supper. A palace insider has revealed the cringe-worthy deal Andrew has made with King Charles.
Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has allegedly been “forced into staged solo photoshoots”
Ex-Prince Andrew has reportedly struck a rather degrading deal with the royal family. As part of a deal to keep receiving cash, he has allegedly agreed to partake in staged photos at royal events. The ultimate goal is to show him looking lonely to emphasize his booting from the British monarchy. Well, it beats getting an actual job like a peasant, right?
A palace source told Radar Online: “Andrew has been snapped since his royal titles were stripped on ‘lonely’ horseriding trips as part of a secret public strategy by The Firm.”
As part of the rumored deal, Andrew will get to continue living his life of luxury. The insider added: “He will still quietly get security, a luxury roof over his head and money – as long as he does what Charles says. It’s all rather brutal. But then life in the royals is that way when it comes to protecting the reputation of the institution.”
The palace is said to be a bit concerned about Andrew potentially spilling royal secrets in a book or TV appearance. But the alleged deal will give him a home and an allowance for the rest of his life. Who’d want to mess that up?
The former duke wasn’t present at the Christmas lunch with King Charles last week. Although he wasn’t the only member of the family not in attendance.
