It seems Bill Clinton has nothing to hide. The former President is calling for full transparency regarding the Jeffrey Epstein files, even if it will be damaging to his personal reputation. Bill’s name and several photos of him have already gone public with him on Jeffrey’s island.
While he’s admitted to knowing him, Bill has said he was unaware of any of Jeffrey’s crimes. He says he stopped seeing him in 2005 after the late sex offender was first arrested. In his book Citizen, he said he wished he’d never met the financier.
The former President wants all Epstein Files released
Even if the documents are damaging to him, Bill Clinton’s message is clear. His spokesman, Angel Ureña, released a statement Monday on his behalf calling on President Donald Trump and Attorney General Pam Bondi to “immediately release any remaining materials referring to, mentioning, or containing a photograph of Bill Clinton.
The statement goes on to say that the Epstein Files Transparency Act imposes a clear legal duty to produce the full and complete records the public demands and deserves. A small number of documents, many of which were redacted, got released last week. The Epstein files act was signed into law by the President shortly after passing through the Senate and House.
Bill’s spokesman added that this investigation is not about the former President. The fallout between Bill and Jeffrey was mentioned in one of Jeffrey’s e-mails, which the House Oversight Committee revealed. In 2019, Jeffrey died in prison while awaiting his sex trafficking trial.
The demands from the former President are rather surprising, given his past association with Jeffrey. It’s something that was reportedly putting a strain on his marriage to Hillary. The former Democratic nominee was reportedly willing to give up her husband upon the release of the files.
