Tennis star Venus Williams exchanged vows with her fiancé Andrea Preti on Saturday, December 20 in Palm Beach, Fla. The pair held a party that lasted five days prior to the event.
The couple started dating in 2024 after meeting at Milan Fashion week. They became engaged last January. This wasn’t their first trip to the alter. Venus and Andrea were unofficially married last September.

Venus explained, “We had this dream to do our wedding in Italy, but we didn’t have enough time to do the paperwork — because I’m a foreigner, it can take about eight months. So we decided to have a second wedding.”
The tennis phenom told Vogue, “I wore the most incredible dress by Georges Hobeika. I wanted to wear a dress that I thought Andrea would love and that was magical and perfect for a Florida wedding.”
“When I saw Venus, she was beautiful, like a goddess,” Andrea recalled. “I was crying and happy.”
The athlete said she finished her vows in English, but Andrea “told me that I had to do them in Italian.” He complimented her on her Italian, saying Venus “speaks Italian very, very well. She’s just shy about it.”
The party was so much fun, Andrea slept right afterwards.
Venus gushed, “We all love each other so much. It was just the happiest, most beautiful, sweetest day.”
The couple first met at a Gucci show while Venus was on a trip with her sisters in Lake Como, Italy. “I got an invite at the last minute and decided to go on a whim, and Andrea was tired. Neither of us was planning on being there.”
Later, the pair landed at the same after-party. “I saw V and wanted to introduce myself. She was on the sofa with her friends and family,” Andrea said. “I told her, ‘You’re so beautiful,’ and then she started speaking with me in Italian. We had a little talk, and I asked if she wanted a drink.”
When he was at the bar, Venus’ sister Lyn told Andrea she thought her sister liked him. This was the beginning of their fairytale romance.
