Kanye West’s daughter, North, shared a rare photo with her father’s wife, Bianca Censori, offering a brief glimpse into their relationship during the holiday season. The post surfaced just weeks after the 12-year-old officially joined Instagram.
North West shares photo with Bianca Censori
On December 26, North reshared an Instagram Stories post originally uploaded by rapper Babyxsosa. The photo showed a screenshot from a FaceTime call featuring Babyxsosa and Kanye West’s daughter North with his wife Bianca Censori, both partially visible and slightly out of frame. The post tagged both West’s and Censori’s accounts and included emojis of a red heart, a Christmas tree, and money with wings.
This photo stood out because North has rarely posted content involving Censori since Kanye West married her in 2022. The holiday timing and casual nature of the picture were read as a relaxed interaction between the two by fans.
The Stories repost followed North’s recent Instagram debut. Earlier this month, she shared her first post, which is a blurry photo of herself dressed in Balenciaga while flashing peace signs. She captioned the image, “First post.” The upload soon went viral due to long-standing debates around her joining social media.
Kanye has previously made it clear that he opposed his daughter, North, being active online. In 2022, after North appeared in a TikTok video with her cousin Penelope Disick, the rapper publicly criticized the situation in a now-deleted Instagram video. “Hey everybody,” Kanye said at the time. “I just got off the phone with Kim, and I told her to stop antagonizing me with this TikTok thing.”
He further added, “I am [North’s] father…I know y’all don’t respect fathers and the idea of family… I said, ‘I’m not allowing my daughter to be used by TikTok, to be used by Disney.’ I have a say so.” Kim Kardashian later responded on Instagram Stories, where she defended her decision to allow North limited social media access under supervision. She further stated that Kanye’s public attacks were “actually more hurtful” than North using the platform (via E! News).
