Swinger Reality TV Star Arrested on Animal and Minor Sex Charges

Ten years ago, A&E aired a show called Neighbors with Benefits, about a group of Cincinnati couples living the swinging lifestyle. A&E cancelled the show after only two episodes due to public backlash. It seems like that decision was for the best because one of the show’s stars, Tony McCollister, has just been arrested on some serious charges.

According to court documents reviewed by local NBC affiliate WLWT News 5, the one-time reality star was arrested on two sex charges. The drama happened on Tuesday, December 23, when cops from Warren County, Ohio, arrested him for pandering obscenity involving a minor and sexual conduct with an animal.

The charging documents accused him of “knowingly” uploading “child sexual abuse imagery to his Google account.” Additionally, he was accused of having sexual conduct with two of his dogs. The alleged crimes happened last month on November 23.

It also seems as if Tony wasn’t the only person involved in this situation with the pups. A woman named Erica Groves, who owns the home where Tony lives, has also been charged with sexual conduct with an animal. She wasn’t featured on the A&E swinging couples show, and it remains unclear exactly how the two are linked. What the outlet did confirm is that Tony and Erica are facing misdemeanor charges for the dog allegations.

Meanwhile, Tony’s other sex crime is a felony. If convicted, he could face up to 8 years in prison and a $15,000 fine. He already forked over a $250,000 bond and was instructed to stay away from kids and animals. His next court date is set for Tuesday, December 30.
