Season 10 of Below Deck Mediterranean is not finding Joe Bradley well. Yes, this man is a hard worker who (typically) handles his daily duties. However, many fans are starting to call Joe out for his careless off-the-clock storylines.
When Joe first appeared as a deckhand in Season 9, his smouldering glances and thick accent caught the eyes of two gorgeous stews. As this season progressed, fans watched the rise and eventual fall of this messy love triangle, also known as one of Joe’s main storylines. Then, during his second run on Below Deck Med, Joe locked himself into yet another sticky situation. However, this complicated romantic entanglement has brought on more heat than his first.
As the most recent episode proved, Joe is starting to show remorse for his actions. But, is it too late to make things right with the audiences of Season 10?
Below Deck Mediterranean Season 10 has seen Joe Bradley cheat on Victoria SanJuan with Kizzi Kitchener

When Season 10 debuted, Kizzi Kitchener liked what she saw. But so did Victoria SanJuan, whom Joe seemed to gravitate towards. His feelings for V went deep, or so he claimed. And that statement alone made many Season 9 fans feel better at ease watching their scenes, because, for V, many are already ride-or-die fans.
One year before V filmed this series, her boyfriend, Bon, tragically drowned. To date, her emotions remain scattered, as expected. So, Joe has done his best to remind V that he isn’t the greatest with commitment. But then, something shifted, and Joe found himself emotionally promising V that she was the only girl for him, and he even wanted to take her home to meet his beloved mum.
Yet, when a sick V took a quick break from filming during the anniversary of Bon’s passing, Joe saw her off the yacht. But then, only a handful of beats later, he brought Kizzi upstairs, purposefully moving a camera to hide the fact that he was about to cheat on V.
Cue round one of the fans calling for his eyebrows on Reddit. As one upvoted comment states, “his annoying victim act kills me when he’s the perpetrator of his own demise.” Likewise, he and Kizzi are “both sh*tty in their own way. But trying to hide it from the cameras is even shadier to me.”
Joe shamed Gael Cameron for cheating during Below Deck Med Season 9

When V temporarily stepped away, Gael Cameron arrived to take over her position. As fans recall, Gael clocked Joe throughout Season 9. Therefore, it made sense when Joe revealed that he was less than thrilled about her return to filming in Season 10.
Not helping matters, Joe’s BFF during filming, Nathan Gallagher, has realized what a gem Gael truly is. Nathan sees a future with Gael, which he will eventually get, since we already know they have a son together, all thanks to their reunion this season. However, watching Nathan and Gael rekindling their Season 9 boatmance has seemingly triggered something in Joe.
To quickly backtrack, at the start of Season 9, Gael admitted that she had a boyfriend. However, her feelings for Nathan were undeniably strong. Nathan felt the same, and they kissed. Then, Gael ended things with her man at home and fell all the more for Nathan.
But when Gael returned in Season 10 Episode 12, Joe took to his confessional. Here, he shook his head, saying, “Once a cheat, always a cheat.” While many fans likely started rolling their eyes clear outside of their skulls, production chimed in, ever the unsung hero of this series. As this lovely human wondered, how has Gael behaved any differently than Joe?
His brain briefly short-circuited before answering, “Right, but I’m single.” Cue another round of angry fans on Reddit. “If a man I am intimate with and spending time with is inviting me to his home to meet his mother, I sure as sh*t don’t think we are doing this as two single individuals,” one Redditor stressed. Earning even more upvotes, another noted that Joe’s “absolute lack of awareness is psychotic.”
Joe’s tears in confessional surprised fans, but is it too late?

Last night, Episode 14 aired. This new episode brought V back to the yacht, rested and “excited to” hear about everything she’d missed. Helping V honor Bon, alongside herself, since her return also fell on her birthday, Aesha Scott planned a lovely birthday celebration for V. After, the crew gathered outside, gently placing flowers into the ocean to honor Bon’s life with V.
As V recalled Bon, their love, and her current state of grief, her emotional words struck a rarely plucked heartstring within Joe. So, as the yachties placed their flowers into the icy, dark waters below, Joe wept. He also quietly asked himself, “What the f*ck am I?”
As the credits started to roll, V further honored Bon with her words, including “all the parts of him” that he left inside her heart. Then, the camera cuts to Joe. He has fled the scene, heading for a private room where he can freely weep. His exit left us with yet another TO BE CONTINUED sign on our screens.
Finally, fans are seeing signs of self-awareness emerging in Joe. But, is it too late to change the tides with his disappointed sea of fans? On Reddit, this answer now resembles a maybe.
As one fan noted, which many agreed with, “I am happy to see Joe feeling the weight of his actions (him crying). [However], He has shown that he really doesn’t seem to care that he made out with Kizzy despite V, but the guilt he is showing feels cathartic for me.” Overall, they ended, “V deserves better.”
Below Deck Mediterranean is streaming on Peacock.
