After a late-night Taco Bell run, Love Island USA star Yulissa Escobar ended up with much more than a Crunchwrap and fire sauce. The reality star, who made headlines for getting kicked off Love Island USA Season 7 for using the N word, says she wound up with a concussion after a late-night scuffle. Here’s how it all went down.
Yulissa Escobar says she was attacked by another woman in Miami
TMZ got all of the details about Yulissa’s latest mishap. She said that she and a friend went to LIV nightclub in Miami on Sunday night. Before heading home, they stopped at Taco Bell. That turned out to be a mistake.
According to Yulissa, a man approached her while she was waiting for her food and started making “inappropriate remarks towards her.” She told the cops she ignored it, but then a woman got involved in the situation.
Allegedly, the woman became “agitated” and struck Yulissa in the cheek. According to the police report, the troublemaking pair jumped into a white Mercedes and fled the scene.
We’re not sure if Yulissa ever got her tacos, but she did end up going to the hospital after the incident. The doctors determined she suffered a concussion. She’s now trying to rest and keep a low profile.
Of course, Yulissa became notorious to Love Island fans this summer when her time in the villa got cut abruptly short. Videos of her using the N-word resurfaced online, and producers quickly pulled her from the show. She didn’t even make it past the first episode.
Since then, Yulissa has been vocal about the “online brutality” she experienced from Love Island fans. She told TMZ that she’s currently “walking in fear,” and she believes that the Taco Bell fight could have been related to her N-word controversy. However, cops haven’t caught up with the suspects to fully determine a motive.
