Southern Charm star Molly O’Connell is making some big plans for a new career.
As 2026 dawns, the euphonium player is looking forward to expanding her music career. “I’ve gotten back into music after quitting for a really long time,” she shared. “Just, like, facing my fears and singing and playing the euphonium. But the singing has been a lot more fun lately.”
Showcasing her singing talent, Molly performed at Austen Kroll and Craig Conover’s bar/restaurant By The Way. Co-star Shep Rose admitted, “We all went and watched.” And Molly was thrilled that “almost everybody” showed up.
Molly is having “a lot more fun” headed into the New Year

Even though she previously confessed to a fear of singing in public, Molly’s coming out of her shell. The newly-minted chanteuse has even signed up for a residency at her pals’ establishment. “We just renewed it until March,” she happily told Bravo’s Daily Dish. “So I’m doing like two Sundays a month at By the Way.”
Molly’s set will include a variety of popular music, including pieces by Fleetwood Mac, Eric Clapton, and Joni Mitchell. “A lot of fun stuff,” Molly enthused.
While Molly still plays the baritone tuba with the Charleston Concert Band, she did blow off a concert earlier in Season 11. She got caught up flirting with Craig’s friend Kory Keefer at Madison LeCroy’s baby shower and skipped the concert. Later in the evening, Kory was amused when she had an alcohol-fueled meltdown over missing her commitment. Fortunately, she was forgiven for the lapse and didn’t lose her place in the band.
In addition to her musical talents, Molly has many modeling credits to her name, including being a runner-up on America’s Next Top Model in 2011. According to her agency profile, she’s also appeared in magazines such as Vogue Knitting, Fuzion, and Stella Nova, as well as others.
Southern Charm airs Wednesdays at 9/8c on Bravo. It streams on Peacock.
