Donald Trump is taking some heat from one of his former advocates over his recent actions in Venezuela. Marjorie Taylor Greene is criticizing the US President who ordered the capture of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro last week, along with his wife Cilia Flores.
Marjorie has had a longstanding feud with the President. Their relationship apparently ended over the handling of the Jeffrey Epstein files. The former Representative of Georgia says the operation to capture Nicolás contradicts the campaign promise Donald made ahead of the 2024 election to put America first. She calls it a betrayal of Donald’s famous campaign slogan to Make America Great Again (MAGA).

Marjorie is once again putting the President on blast. On the Sunday edition of Meet the Press on NBC, she said, “We don’t consider Venezuela our neighborhood.” She says she wants the President’s administration to focus on domestic policy that helps Americans afford a living.
After criticizing Donald for the handling of the Epstein files, the President called Marjorie a traitor. She has fired back in many interviews, stating concerns about how the government is being run.
Nicolás and his wife are in custody in Brooklyn, facing multiple charges. Among them are narco-terrorism and an alleged cocaine importation conspiracy. They’re also facing charges of possession of machine guns and destructive devices, and conspiracy to possess machine guns and destructive devices.
On Monday, Marjorie said that Americans’ disgust with what she claimed was the government’s never-ending military aggression and support of foreign wars is justified. She says those are things that many in MAGA thought they’d voted to end. She went on to say, “Boy, were we wrong.”
Marjorie’s tenure in Congress officially ended on Monday. She’s said to be in the running to be a co-host at The View, though she is also rumored to be considering running for President in 2028.
