Reunion of Prince Harry’s kid and King Charles might be on the cards this year. A source claimed that the Duke of Sussex would reportedly like it if his father met his grandchildren during his trip to America in April. The father-son duo last met in September 2025 when the “Spare” author visited the U.K. But the monarch didn’t get the opportunity to meet his second son’s kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, in recent years. Their last encounter was in June 2022 during Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
Prince Harry wants King Charles to visit his kids and build relationship with them, says source
Prince Harry reportedly would like King Charles to meet his kids during his April visit to America. A source told The Sun that the duke would want his father to build a close relationship with his children. “Harry has made it clear that he would love his dad to come and visit him and the family,” they claimed.
In April, the 77-year-old monarch would reportedly go on a trip to the U.S. Harry would seemingly like the king to spend time with Archie and Lilibet at their Montecito mansion, California. “[Harry] knows that they are strained, but he has mentioned several times a hope that his father can have a relationship with his grandchildren,” the insider said.
Furthermore, they claimed that the 41-year-old might visit his home country with his wife, Meghan Markle, in the future. Once the security-related matter is resolved, Harry could allegedly reunite his family with the royal clan in the U.K.
Earlier, a report suggested a solution that could bring the Duke of Sussex closer to his father. Royal expert Jennie Bond mentioned that Harry should meet King Charles “time to time” to amend their relationship. “An apology to his father and his stepmother would also help – again, perhaps he has already done so, although I rather doubt it,” she added.
