It appears the Vice President had an unwelcomed visitor this weekend. There was apparently damage done to the home of JD Vance overnight. Fortunately for him and his family, no one was harmed, though the house sustained some damage during the incident.
No one was around at their home in Ohio at the time, but some of their windows were reportedly damaged. JD and his wife, Usha, have three kids together, and purchased a home in Cincinnati in 2018.
One person is in custody after windows were broken at JD Vance’s home

Police are still trying to establish a motive for this whole matter. The Chief of Communications for the Secret Service, Anthony Guglielmi, confirmed to TMZ that an adult male is in custody by the Cincinnati Police Department after being detained by the Secret Service. The arrest was for “causing property damage, including breaking windows on the exterior of a personal residence associated with the Vice President.”
It’s believed the suspect was either attempting to break in or just wanted to vandalize the home. The Secret Service is apparently coordinating with police in Cincinnati and the US Attorney’s Office regarding charges they could bring forth.
The Vice President’s personal life has been a hot topic with reports suggesting he and Usha may be splitting up. There was speculation that he and political activist Erika Kirk were having an affair. The two shared a long hug on stage in October, with Erika touching the back of his head. Erika said that’s how she hugs everyone.
In addition to their Ohio home, which is over 150 years old, JD and his wife own other property in another state. They own over 100 acres of land in Kentucky.
JD will reportedly run for President when Donald Trump’s second term in office officially ends in 2028.
