Ashley Tisdale was part of a mom group for a few years before she apparently left the group. In a personal essay for a publication, the star even narrated her ordeal of being in the group and why she is no longer a part of it. But if the sources are to be believed, Tisdale was abandoned by the moms over the “toxic dynamic.”
Ashley Tisdale ‘was only interested in things that benefited her,’ per source
Ashley Tisdale recently wrote about her breakup with the mom group. In a personal essay for The Cut, titled “Breaking Up With My Toxic Mom Group,” published on January 1, the star mentioned, that she started to “feel frozen out of the group,” and “could sense a growing distance between me and the other members of the group, who seemed to not even care that I wasn’t around much.”
After being left out of yet another group hang, Tisdale texted, “this is too high school for me and I don’t want to take part in it anymore.” However, sources have now claimed that the 40-year-old was abandoned by the group for a reason. “It wasn’t an overnight thing. Her politics don’t align with a lot of the group members. This drove a wedge between them,” a source close to the friends group told The US Sun.
“But the big straw that broke the camel’s back was how Ashley responded to the group about the LA wildfires last year.” As per the tipster, although “multiple members of the group were impacted,” the actress “hardly checked in.” Also, “didn’t offer to help with the means she has.”
The source claimed, “She just lived her own life, didn’t check in.” And added, “her friends felt abandoned by her.” Due to this act of the songstress, Tisdale’s “friends felt the amount of self-absorption she showed just got worse, and it was impossible to maintain a friendship with her since it was so one-sided.”
Moreover, they felt she “was only interested in things that benefited her or suited her interests.” Her behaviour, the individual pointed out, “created an extremely toxic dynamic. They questioned her morals and what she believes in.”
