Elle Fanning said she was “starstruck” by Justin Bieber interviewing her. The actor was recently nominated for a Critics Choice Award in the category “Best Supporting Actress” for her portrayal of Rachel Kemp in the film “Sentimental Value.”
While chatting with Mona Kosar Abdi, she went down memory lane, reminiscing about the first time she was at the Critics Choice Awards function. While speaking to ExtraTV, she said that she was interviewed by Justin Bieber, further saying that she “could be wrong.”

Elle Fanning graced the Critics Choice Awards event in style. The “Maleficent” actor wore a gold gown featuring a plunging neckline and wowed everyone. She also discussed how excited she was for the awards function with ExtraTV. She recalled her first Critics Choice Awards function experience.
When the interviewer, Mona Kosar Abdi, told her that she looked “gorgeous,” Fanning twirled around to show her dress, saying, “We both are matching gold a little bit.” The interviewer then congratulated her for her Best Supporting Actress nomination. Fanning thanked her, saying she was excited to be at the awards function with her cast and celebrate with everyone.
Abdi then asked her, “Do events like these ever get old or is it new every time?” Fanning let out a big “No,” saying it feels “new every time.”
Recalling her first experience at the awards function, when she was about 12 years old, Justin Bieber interviewed her. She further said, “I could be wrong, but he was there, something he was like in disguise, and he was like it wasn’t Justin Bieber, but like he had a hat on and he was doing interviews. I could be wrong, but I think I’m right about that.” She further said that she felt “starstruck” and that “Critics Choice” will always have a special place in her heart.
