The host at the “Taste Of Country Nights” asked what it was like showing up with visible face tattoos. He said Bailee’s classmates were curious, and the questions started fast. At one point, he recalled them asking, “What is all that stuff on your face?” He said he made his reply kid-friendly.
He explained that he told the children the markings were something he put on for the school visits. The country music star said, “I would go ‘You won’t believe this, I only draw this on when I come see y’all so y’all are excited about it.'”
Then he said the group kept testing his logic. They asked how the designs stayed identical each time. So, he said he added another layer to keep the joke moving. He claimed, “I got the little sticker things now because I been coming so much.” He said he kept stacking details so the kids would laugh.
Jelly Roll said the vibe changed as those kids got older. He also noted some parents grew wary of what the face tattoos suggested. As his fame grew, he said public assumptions followed his look into everyday spaces.
