A new report delves into Keith Urban‘s personal life following his divorce from Nicole Kidman last year. It suggests that the country musician deeply regrets the state of his marriage and family life. It adds that he is struggling to cope with that reality. Although the former couple divorced in September 2025, reports suggest that they had been separated since the summer.
Keith Urban is hurting after Nicole Kidman split, sources suggest
According to Star Magazine, which cited a source, Keith Urban is reportedly “hurting.” He apparently has “some serious regrets” about his divorce from Nicole Kidman. The outlet added, “He misses the kids terribly and he’s finding it tough to deal with the harsh reality that his family is blown up.”
The outlet further stated that even though Urban and the actress were “keeping the divorce as amicable as possible,” the former was “plowing through a fortune.” This report comes shortly after Nicole Kidman was reported to have spent the holidays in Australia with her and Urban’s two kids, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret.
National Enquirer previously reported, citing a source, that Kidman still held feelings for Urban. Her close friends were reportedly aware of this. The outlet also shared that the musician did not create an issue when Kidman decided to take their children to Australia for Christmas, instead of spending it in Nashville as the former couple had originally planned.
The source added that Kidman was “bracing for an argument,” only for Urban to be “a real gentleman.” Sources say this “softened her heart” towards the latter.
The source shared that Kidman’s friends became “terrified” of her possibly rekindling her marriage with Urban. They added, “They’re begging her not to let nostalgia cloud her judgment. She spent so many years tying herself into knots trying to make Keith happy, and now she’s finally free to put herself first.”
The source further stated that the Oscar winner had made considerable progress in her life since the divorce. Moreover, her friends didn’t want her to “slide back into old patterns.” They continued, “They don’t want to see her lose herself all over again trying to save Keith. But there’s only so much they can do to stop her.”
