Michael B. Jordan’s Reaction to Timothée Chalamet Speech Goes Viral

Michael B. Jordan‘s reaction to Timothée Chalamet‘s 2026 Critics’ Choice Award speech has garnered the internet’s attention. He was nominated for the Best Actor category for his performance as Smoke in the horror-action movie Sinners. But the award was taken home by Chalamet, who gave a loving shout-out to all the nominees and his beau, Kylie Jenner. However, the cut to Jordan with his unreadable reaction during the speech has become a meme and talk of the town.

Michael B. Jordan goes viral for his reaction

Chalamet accepted the best actor award for his performance in Marty Supreme at the 2026 Critics’ Choice Awards. During his acceptance speech, he took a moment to give a special shout-out to his girlfriend, Kylie Jenner. He said, “Thank you to my partner for three years… I love you. I couldn’t do this without you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.” But before the camera moved to Jenner during his speech, it first cut to Jordan, who appeared to be smirking with a straight face. The reaction popped at a time when Chalamet was referring to Jenner as his partner for three years, and it instantly went viral on social media.

A fan wrote, “The camera being on michael b jordan while timothee says thank you to my partner of three years (with a crying emoji).”

Another one added, “The part of the speech when Timothée was talking about Kylie was so cute, but it’s hilarious how long they kept the camera on MBJ as if he was talking about him.” A third one said, “If you clip the video like this it makes it look like timothee has been dating michael b jordan for three years.”

Another one tweeted, “Michael B was not interested…” “Michael B Jordan’s face is all of us! We feel the cringe too,” another one added.

Ahead of his shoutout to Jenner, Chalamet addressed his nervousness over the moment of receiving such a prestigious award and thanked his fellow nominees. He also expressed his gratitude to Josh Safdie, who brought the inspirational story of Marty to life.
