The alleged first-day earnings of new influencer Piper Rockelle have started a conversation about OnlyFans creators reportedly faking their income. It also dragged in the name of Sophie Rain, one of the most successful creators on the platform. After Lily Phillips slammed creators for faking their incomes as a promotion tactic, Rain responded by showing her OnlyFans dashboard live.
Sophie Rain clears the air about her OnlyFans income
Lily Phillips posted a video earlier this week, where she suggested that influencers exaggerate income as a promotional tactic. While Phillips did not name anyone in particular, she suggested that showing one’s income on the platform was a promotional trick that often led to creators going viral.
“This is not coming from a place of judgment or calling them out,…I just want to warn any young girls thinking that you can make an account on this certain site and overnight you’re a millionaire, which, it just is not true,” Phillips said in the video.
Rain, who went viral after announcing her earnings on the platform, responded to the clip with a video of her own, where she sets the record straight about her earnings.
“I’ve been noticing a lot of pocket watching in my comments lately,” Rain said in her video, “I’m just here to set the record straight.” Logging into the statistics page of her app, Rain showed her all-time gross income. “This is showing my all-time gross of $99 million,” she said, “I only have you guys to thank, but I have no reason to lie. Thank you so much for your concern. Love you guys.”
Many fans backed Rain’s video, praising her for clearing the air and making a statement of her own.
Sophie Rain remains one of the most popular OnlyFans creators on the planet, with a huge fanbase across all her social media platforms.
