Michele Reiner’s alleged email was supposedly sent just hours before she was killed

Michele sent the email to Nanon Williams on December 13, according to NBC News. The publication notes that he has access to emails via a tablet provided by the state.
In the alleged message, Michele wrote about a play she and Rob had attended with friends including Billy Crystal and members of Nanon’s family. The play – Lyrics From Lockdown – is actually based on letters he wrote from his cell.
She allegedly wrote: “I’m sure you have heard from Tera [Nanon’s wife], but the show last night was amazing. We all said that we can’t wait to watch it with you.”
She ended the alleged message: “Hope you’re doing well, Love you—Michele.”
Nanon was found guilty of the murder of Adonius Collier in 1992. He was initially given the death penalty, but it was later reduced to life without parole. He has always maintained his innocence and is currently appealing his conviction.
The Reiners reportedly developed a close relationship with Nanon after first seeing the play in 2016. He told NBC News that the family had become “an integral part of my life.” He added: “They became a part of me.”
Nick Reiner was charged with his parents’ murders on December 16. He has reportedly just been taken off suicide watch and is no longer wearing an anti-suicide smock. According to a report from TMZ, he had allegedly been diagnosed with schizophrenia before his parents’ deaths.
