Donald Trump’s granddaughter is calling for peace between the President and one of his arch-rivals. Kai Trump weighed in on the political climate now, with her famous grandpa at the forefront.
She admits that she loves US politics even though Trump is often in the eye of the storm. Last year, he regained the presidency by defeating Kamala Harris. The former Vice President and Donald have had their share of heated exchanges. While she admits to obviously supporting Donald in the 2024 election, Kai says she has no ill will towards Kamala. She hopes that her grandfather and the former Democratic candidate can find some common ground.
Kai Trump said “politics is a dangerous thing”
Democrats and Republicans never get along, but Kai hopes there can at least be more respect on both sides. Speaking on the podcast Impaulsive, Kai admits, “Politics is such a dangerous thing.” That is why she would rather follow it from afar than be involved.
As for the feud between Donald and Kamala, she said, “I think if both sides met in the middle, everyone would be so much more happier.” She notes that, for her, social media can worsen political divisions, as algorithms trap users in one-sided viewpoints.
Donald’s eldest grandchild is said to have a lot in common with the President, and in September, it was reported that she was his new favorite. In the interview, Kai spoke about Donald’s youngest son, Barron, referring to him as “Uncle B,” even though they are only two years apart in age. She called him a great guy who doesn’t like the public much.
She adds that being a Trump makes dating rather uncomfortable for her because there are always Secret Service agents nearby her. She calls that a little weird and awkward. Kai, the daughter of Donald Trump Jr., will be joining the University of Miami’s women’s golf team this year.
