Donald Trump’s Granddaughter Kai Reveals What Makes Dating ‘Awkward’

Being President Donald Trump’s granddaughter may provide Kai Trump with a host of unparalleled privileges, but a smooth-sailing dating life is certainly not one of them. In a recent discussion, the amateur golfer opened up about the difficulties she faces in carrying out romantic relationships with the Secret Service constantly tracking her movements due to security concerns.

During her recent appearance on Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast, Kai Trump revealed that being Donald Trump‘s granddaughter has made dating extremely “awkward” for her, specifically due to the intervention of the Secret Service.

“To be honest, it’s really awkward when you’re… going on a date with a guy, and they’re two tables behind you,” said Trump, before adding, “It’s a little weird. But I try my best not to let it bother me, and I think I’ve learned, especially in the last year now… [that] yes, they’re following me, but also to focus and pretend like they’re not there.”

The eldest granddaughter of Donald Trump, Kai, also revealed that the constant presence of federal agents has a jarring effect on her day-to-day activities. “It’s tough. I’d be lying if I said it wasn’t tough. It was a big adjustment having them come in, and then having to adjust my schedule and just kind of go about my day. It’s weird when you’re just like hanging out with your friends, a group of girls, and you have like a tall guy standing like three feet behind you. It’s weird,” she explained.

Despite being the granddaughter of Donald Trump, a two-time US President, Kai has no interest in pursuing a political career. “I don’t want anything to do with politics because I feel like politics is such a dangerous thing, and I think if both sides met in the middle, everyone will be so much happier,” she noted. Instead, Kai wishes to succeed as a “professional golfer,” with hopes of becoming “number one in the world, eventually.”
