Gayle King blasted United Airlines for assigning her a “window” seat with no actual window. As reported by People magazine, the TV personality shared a now-deleted video on Instagram, where she gave fans an insight into the almost nine-hour-long flight incident. The video provided viewers with a closer look at the journalist’s boarding pass. It clearly stated that it was a “window” seat under the business class. The clip further displayed the flight setup.

“When is a window seat not a window seat?” King wrote in the caption of the Instagram post, as per the news outlet. She continued, “C’mon @united!” Meanwhile, the on-screen text in the video read, “A window seat… without a window?!”

As the now-deleted video continued, viewers could see King saying, “I always like the window seat.” The TV personality explained, “So I sit down and I go, ‘Oh great, let’s look out the window.'” The CBS News host then went on to pan over to the plain expanse of the wall. “There is no window,” the journalist said. “Well, maybe I can look at the neighbor’s window across the hall.” After saying that, she patted the wall with her hand on the opposite side and said, “Oh, a wall.”

According to People, King further said, “What’s a girl to do? I asked the flight attendant,” before noting, “They were very nice.” The television personality further added in the Instagram video, “It’s going to be a long ride.”
