Marjorie Taylor Greene Feared Becoming ‘The Next Charlie Kirk’ Over This Donald Trump Comment

Fear was a determining factor in Marjorie Taylor Greene’s departure from Congress. The former Representative of Georgia says she was afraid for her family’s after turning her back on Donald Trump. The two had a falling out over the Jeffrey Epstein files, with the President calling her a traitor.

Marjorie has been outspoken about the President and the state of the country. This came after being a staunch advocate for him for years, and his Make America Great Again (MAGA) motto. She admits to receiving death threats since turning on the President. Donald’s accusations against her had her wondering, “Am I going to have to be the next Charlie Kirk?” Charlie was assassinated during a speech in Utah in September.

Marjorie’s family’s safety comes before politics. On Wednesday’s edition of The View, the mother of three explained her decision to leave Congress. While she says she’s accustomed to getting death threats herself, she says, “when they came in on my son, because of the president’s words, it’s too much.”

Her appearance on the talk show was coming and was said to be an audition for the politician. It’s not known if she would accept an offer to be a new host for the show, but insiders say there is plenty of interest for her to join The View. On Wednesday’s show, she said the President calling her a traitor was the “straw that broke the camel’s back.”

Marjorie admits that she didn’t know who Trump was talking about when he said his friends would get hurt if the entire Epstein files were released. Only a small portion of those files have been released, despite the President signing off on the bill to release them late last year.

Marjorie is said to be considering a run for President in 2028. Her last day as a Representative in Georgia was Monday.
