Covering Trump’s Face on These New Passes Will Cost You

Donald Trump is not pleased that people are covering his face on the new National Park Passes. In December last year, the Department of the Interior revealed the artwork for the 2026 National Park Passes and one pass includes an image of Trump alongside a portrait of George Washington. Since the announcement, many have decided to cover his head with a sticker, something that the administration will now penalize.

Putting a sticker over Trump’s face could void National Park Passes

Holders of the National Park Pass could have it voided if the card has a sticker on the front, according to an internal email seen by SFGATE.

The email, written by department business specialists Allison Christofis and Jeff Beauchamp and delivered to National Park Service staff, was sent to the outlet by a Park Service employee that requested anonymity. It was already a part of the pass’s policy that it would be voided if the signature section is changed, but it’s now been updated to mention stickers too.

“Defacing the pass in any way, including writing on it or adding stickers or other coverings, is a form of altering the pass,” the updated policy reads.

Staff members inspecting any altered pass will need to make a judgment call on whether it violates the policy. If it does, then the passholder may be asked to remove the sticker or be charged for a day pass or pass replacement.

This policy change comes in response to efforts intended to cover Trump’s face on the pass. One artist, Jenny McCarty, revealed three stickers she made to do just that on Instagram that replaces the existing art on the pass with pictures of landscapes and animals.

With the new sticker policy, McCarty said in a separate report that one workaround solution would be to place the pass in a clear credit card case and adhere the sticker on the case, so that the original pass remains unaltered.

Meanwhile, Trump is thinking about forcing comedians and musicians into performing at the Kennedy Center and is apparently plotting to get revenge on Madonna.
