Donald and Melania Trump discuss interior designing, claims source
Donald and Melania Trump have been married for over two decades. Although they have their own respective schedules and commitments, there’s reportedly one topic that can bring the two together. A source told PEOPLE that the couple “love interior design,” and it is something that they “have in common.”
“Donald has his own vision for his homes and clubs, and over the years has designed and selected a lot of the furnishings and finishings himself at Mar-a-Lago and the golf clubs,” the insider elaborated on the president’s experience.
As per recent reports, he has currently been busy with brainstorming about the designs for the White House ballroom. The outlet reported it to be a “$400 million, 90,000-square-foot project.” Allegedly, he has taken the initiative of redesigning and has been exploring several retail marble stores.
Aside from the love for interior design, the couple has recently made headlines for another reason. During President Trump’s latest appearance at the Kennedy Center, he revealed that his wife does not like his on-stage dance routines. “My wife hates when I do this,” he told his supporters.
“She’s a very classy person, right? She said, ‘It’s so unpresidential,’” the president quipped, adding, “But I did become president.” He continued with the anecdote, saying that Melania told him that people “don’t like it, they are just being nice to you.” His little story left the crowd in stitches.
