MrBeast slams toxic One Piece fans in viral clip

James Stephen Donaldson, aka MrBeast, is sparking debate after he called out “One Piece” fans, labelling them “toxic” in a recent X clip. However, it seems like the streamer’s comment isn’t an intended attack. He was responding to the backlash he received from the fanbase for merely changing his X profile picture to Luffy.

The video started off with his co-passenger saying, “There are a couple of tweets about you saying, ‘Should I watch One Piece?'” MrBeast, who was ready with his reply, started by saying, “Two things, before I answer that, Holy s***!” He then made the controversial comment, stating how some fans accused him of trying to latch onto the “One Piece” hype.

Responding to trolls, MrBeast claimed that he’s watched over 700 episodes of Naruto and has been into anime for years. “I’ve seen more anime than all of you little anime clowns with your anime PFPs… “, he said. “I’ve been tweeting about anime before some of you mfs were born… I’ve watched all 700 episodes of Naruto”.

MrBeast further defended himself against accusations of being an “anime tourist”. He stood by his anime fandom, citing his interest in shows like “Legend of the Galactic Heroes”.

MrBeast’s blunt response, slamming “One Piece” fans for questioning others’ fandom, sparked a flood of reactions on social media. Netizens remain divided, with one X user commenting, “Bros the WHOLE REASON the damn Pokemon scalpers ditched it and raced to One Piece. I fully blame this false price surge on Mr Beast lol”. “Its like people think the Internet people dont have a life behind the camera”, defended a fan. “Haha freaking keyboard warriors going nuts”, tweeted another.
