Singer Rihanna is experiencing fan backlash after the unveiling of racy photos. These show the fashion mogul wearing her Savage X Fenty lingerie in a 2026 Valentine’s Day campaign.

Rihanna is accused of “distorting” the images for the Savage X Fenty Valentine’s campaign
After Rihanna shared the sexy images on her Instagram January 6, fans complained that she retouched and distorted the photos.
The social media comments noted that the singer’s body looked “unrecognizable” and her proportions appeared wrong. They specifically pointed out that her face appeared small in comparison to her body.
“Riri is beautiful, but she is not built like this,” a fan commented on Reddit.
“I so badly want to see what that third photo looked like before they completely distorted her body with Photoshop,” wrote another fan. “Like, how did that make it to print? It looks so poorly done.”
Another questioned, “Did she get a BBL or is that photoshopped?” while someone else commented, “Now let me see it without smoothing filters.”
Because Rihanna concealed her pregnancies in the past, and her stomach was obscured in the photos, fans speculated if there was another baby on the way. One person alluded to this, saying, “They are not showing her stomach at all.”
With Savage X Fenty focusing its marketing on inclusive and positive body images, the comments were even more conspicuous. Its past campaigns received accolades for featuring unretouched photos of models with different body types and noticeable imperfections.
“For someone who has been really inclusive in their line im kinda bummed she felt the need to photoshop this to s***. She looked good before babies and looks amazing after, it would be nice to show a just had 3 babies body in lingerie [especially} someone like her who’s always come off as confident.”
So far, there has been no response from Rihanna addressing the alleged complaints.
