Sometimes help can come in the strangest form. Angelina Jolie is learning that first-hand as she copes with drama surrounding her ex-husband, Brad Pitt. The two had their divorce settled a while ago. However they are set to battle in court again over an alleged breach of contract.
Someone who knows a thing or two about divorce and knows the Tomb Raider actress quite well is apparently helping her through this difficult time. Billy Bob Thornton and Angelina were married in the early 2000s and remain close friends. The Academy Award-winning actress reportedly tells Billy “Everything,” according to an insider. They say it is on par with Angelina’s relationship with first husband, Jonny Lee Miller, but it’s “more intense” with Billy. He is seemingly serving as her counsellor in an unofficial capacity throughout her difficult times. The two are said to still have a special bond.

Their marriage didn’t last long, but Billy and Angelina have apparently remained very close. The Sling Blade actor is on his sixth marriage and is often the person Angelina turns to when she wants to share her feelings. The two are said to be very, very close, while an insider tells RadarOnline they “talk all the time.”
The relationship between Billy and his fifth wife today is said to be more of a brother-sister dynamic. The pair first met during filming for the 1999 movie Pushing Tin. They shocked Hollywood by getting married the year after that. Unlike her divorce from Brad, though, Billy and Angelina have been able to keep things classy and civil since their romantic breakup. That’s quite different from her split to Brad with insiders in October saying their feud was heading for a “collision course.”
Even today, insiders say Angelina doesn’t open up to many people, but Billy is an exception. Their friendship, however, isn’t easy for Billy’s current wife, Connie, who’s been married to the Simple Plan actor since 2014.
It wasn’t just the romance between Angelina and Billy that shocked people. Their eccentric displays of affection for many were rather bizarre. That included reportedly wearing vials of each other’s blood around their neck. Billy said the vials were just two small lockets containing a single drop of blood.
