As for their latest fusion, they are briefly removing Alison Hammond from her cozy, oversized baking tent on Great British Bake-Off, all because they found another fun spot for her to land on their network. So, where is Alison taking her break before she returns to her typical scones and cakes co-hosting gig? Here’s the tea.

As Netflix states on their latest post, the fourth season of Bridgerton officially drops on January 29. It’s soon, gentle readers and period piece lovers. But what does this have to do with Alison? Well, Great British Bake-Off and Bridgerton both air on Netflix, for starters.

Also, if you follow Alison, then you will know that she is a massive Bridgerton enthusiast. Cue Netflix, hiring this already popular co-host as their new host this season, via Bridgerton: The Official Podcast. This podcast isn’t anything new. However, Alison’s journey as its latest host will arrive with a fun new twist, as this will be the first time fans can watch this companion podcast on Netflix, both in the United States and on YouTube, for those who reside outside of America.

If you prefer listening over watching when it comes to podcasts, then have no fear. That option remains. This season, Bridgerton: The Official Podcast carries six total episodes. And all six episodes will still be released via the usual platforms, including Apple and Spotify.

Regarding the content during Alison’s run as the host, well, many details are still under lock and key. However, we do know that Alison will soon host various cast members from Bridgerton Season 4, including the new romantic leads this season, Luke Thompson and Yerin Ha. Alison’s first three podcast episodes will drop, one per week, starting on January 29. The remaining episodes are scheduled for release starting on February 26, when the second half of Bridgerton Season 4 lands on Netflix.
