Blake Shelton breaks silence on Gwen Stefani divorce rumors in new interview
Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani got married in 2021 and are one of the most celebrated couples in Hollywood. However, recently, there have been speculations that the couple’s relationship has gone sour. The rumors allegedly stemmed from the fact that the couple hasn’t made a public appearance together at a major event since March.
This led people to speculate that there must be something going on between the couple. Some even questioned whether they are on the brink of a divorce.
However, the country singer broke his silence on the divorce rumors in a new interview with Country Countdown USA. When the host said that Shelton is a “tough guy to Google.” The host added that even though he has known the singer for a long time, he had just Googled him to see if there was something Shelton was doing that he didn’t know about. The host remarked that it’s a tough job to Google him and “get through anything that actually is true.”
To this, Shelton replied, “I’m telling you, it’s amazing. Starting in October, I think, or maybe November, I started noticing these articles popping up about Blake and Gwen, they’re split up. They’re not even seeing each other. They’re going through a divorce.”
He then spoke about how, a week later, a picture would pop up showing the couple heading out of the grocery store. And the headline would claim that they were back together.
He further joked that if they were not seen together at the grocery store another week, the headlines would say that the couple was heading for a divorce.
Shelton, 49, added that he would see pictures of himself and Stefani that look really real but aren’t. He said, “I don’t believe anything anymore that I see on the internet. I mean, nothing. I just don’t believe it.”
