Yesterday, as Donald Trump was traveling to the Palm Beach International Airport, his motorcade route unexpectedly changed. The discovery of a “suspicious object” found at the airport necessitated the adjustment.
Following recent events, political unrest against the Trump administration has increased. Naturally, assassination fears have also risen, causing his security people to be more vigilant.
The Secret Service found something at Palm Beach Airport
According to RadarOnline, security sweeps found the unidentified object prior to Trump’s departure. The White House didn’t offer any details about the object, while Trump insisted he knew “nothing” about it.
Meanwhile, a spokesperson for the US Secret Service, released a statement saying the route change was a precautionary measure, which is “standard protocol.”
“Further investigation is warranted,” press secretary Karoline Leavitt stated. “The presidential motorcade route was adjusted accordingly.”
According to reports, Trump left Mar-a-Lago for the airport at 6:20 pm and took a circular route around the city. His motorcade was accompanied by motorcycle officers. At one point, the officers nearly collided with vans accompanying the president, most likely containing the press corps and White House staff.
Furthermore, this isn’t the first suspicious object found near Palm Beach International. In October 2025, the Secret Service discovered a hunting stand near the airport, high in a tree with a direct line-of-sight to Air Force One.
At that time, Deputy FBI Director Dan Bongino told news outlets, “The hunting stand was appropriately dismantled. It’s being flown to our lab … All of the forensic tools we have [will] be applied to try to find out who put this up there and why.”
Meanwhile, another source alleged that Trump’s recent behaviors have “increased hundreds of percent” the chances of an attempt on his life.
