Elon Musk Plans Custody Battle With Ex Ashley St. Clair Over Trans Comments

Elon Musk has fired back at Ashley St. Clair over recent comments she made about the transgender community. In response, the billionaire businessman is threatening his ex with a custody battle regarding the son they welcomed in 2024.

Ashley St. Clair feels “immense guilt” for her “role” in hurting the trans community

Taking to the social media platform owned by Elon, Ashley – who previously made a name for herself as somewhat of a conservative influencer – apologized to the transgender community.

“I feel immense guilt for my role,” Ashley said in response to a question about her previous stance. She then pointed to Vivian Jenna Wilson, Elon’s eldest daughter, who came out as a transgender woman in 2020. “And [I feel] even more guilt that things I have said in the past may have caused my son’s sister more pain.”

Ashley went on to say that while she doesn’t know how to “make amends” for her past, she has been “trying incredibly hard” to learn and advocate for the transgender community.

Much of the reaction to Ashley’s apology was positive. “Growth and self reflection is always good. Glad to see it,” said @SweatyGothMom. “Wow. This is actually incredible,” agreed @MaileOnX. “It is rare someone admits to being wrong and being willing to make amends.”

One person who was not welcoming of Ashley’s change of opinion, however, was Elon. “I will be filing for full custody today,” he said via his account @elonmusk on X. The platform owner then accused Ashley of “implying she might transition a one-year-old boy.”

All of this comes in the wake of the scandal surrounding Grok. X’s AI assistant has come under fire this month for making sexualized images of women and girls without their consent.
