The snub came as a surprise to many fans of the podcast, as New Heights is arguably one of the most-watched podcasts, and they had quite a successful year. Their episode featuring Swift set a Guinness World Record by achieving 1.3 billion concurrent YouTube views during her appearance. Interestingly, this is the highest-ever figure for a podcast livestream by any artist (via PEOPLE).
Moreover, the “Opalite” singer sparked rumors that she was stationed in Los Angeles over the weekend. The paparazzi photographed multiple stars leaving the Birds Street Club on Friday night, carrying loaves of sourdough bread. The packets were plastered with pun-filled, witty messages that appeared to be in the global pop icon’s handwriting (via Elle).
The “Daylight” crooner has received four Golden Globe nominations for “Best Original Song – Motion Picture” in the past. However, she hasn’t written any music for a film soundtrack in 2025 and thus did not receive any nomination. Nonetheless, fans were hoping to see Swift playing cheerleader to fiancé Kelce if New Heights had earned a nomination in the “Best Podcast” category, but that did not happen.
Notably, it appears, Swift has channeled her energies into planning her upcoming wedding with Kelce. A source revealed to US Weekly, “She’s being so quiet about the planning,” and added that she’s “starting to think about” her wedding dress and possible venues.
