A new report out of Spain has put Prince Harry’s ex, Catherine Ommanney, in the spotlight, with reports claiming she has been arrested. Ommanney is a reality TV personality who claimed she had a brief fling with Prince Harry in 2006. Now, new claims that police detained her over an unpaid hotel bill during a stay in Majorca are drawing attention to her.

The Sun reported that authorities arrested Prince Harry’s ex on suspicion of fraud after a hotel manager alerted police. Moreover, the outlet reported that the alleged incident involved a nine-day stay at the Playas del Rey Hotel in Santa Ponsa. The bill was said to be a total of about €550 (around $642).
Furthermore, The Sun reported that Ommanney appeared before a judge in Palma. However, the former “Real Housewives of D.C.” star has publicly denied she skipped out on the bill.
Responding after news of the arrest circulated, Ommanney said, “It’s all b——t. The bill was paid.” She added, “I have proof the bill was paid in full. It was a technical error on the hotel’s behalf and I will be seeking an apology through the justice system.”
The Sun also reported that Ommanney reserved the stay with a card that had “no funds” on it, citing Spanish outlet Ultima Hora. Meanwhile, the Express reported that she appeared in court in Palma and later left on bail while the investigation continued. However, officials have not confirmed publicly whether the case has closed.
Ommanney is best known for appearing on “The Real Housewives of D.C.” She has also spoken publicly in recent years about a short relationship she claims she had with Prince Harry when he was 21.
As of now, the situation boils down to the hotel’s complaint, which led to a reported arrest. And Prince Harry’s alleged ex insists firmly that she paid in full and plans to retaliate legally.
